Medicare Supplemental (Medigap)

Medigap is a type of insurance policy that is designed to supplement Medicare coverage. It is sold by private insurance companies and can help cover some of the out-of-pocket costs associated with Medicare, such as deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance. Medigap policies are standardized, meaning that each plan letter offers the same benefits, no matter which insurance company you purchase it from.

To be eligible for Medigap, you must be enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B. You must also live in the state where the policy is being offered and be over the age of 65, or have a qualifying disability.
